Investigation of Construction Productivity from Decades of Work Method Study Data

I am currently conducting research in construction productivity through historical productivity data analysis. Under the guidance of Professor John D. Borcherding, I have analyzed a pool of productivity studies that were conducted on 100 different construction projects during the period of 1972 to 2008. These studies essentially studied micro-level field-level productivity by employing classical productivity analysis methods (such as work sampling and 5-minute rating). My analysis of the 5-minute rating data in these studies has revealed interesting patterns of production efficiency distribution over the type of operations and crew sizes.
